Leaving aside the lamentable state of the anti-Smith lachrymosity, for my part, I have been pondering Tuor in Gondolin's argument yesterday concerning wizards. He alone has had the foresight to be foresightful and consider what a character might do rather than what a character has already done. Havoc indeed a meddling wizard might concoct. In short, a day late I concur, and go off to consider who might likely find himself in the belly of a whale.
