I'd like to be a Maia, but I realize that is dreaming. it's like hoping once to become a god! as an existing being (the question always is: do gods exist) i'd love to be a Gondorian. serving Elessar, drinking with the guards of the white city, being a part of an ever-growing civilisation without having to fear the great evil ever again. being an elf must be enormously cool, but remember they all left Middle-Earth to die, or whatever you call sailing to the west. have you ever wondered what would happen to Maiar that die? would they go to the halls of Mandos too?
