Really, Phantom, I would expect better reasoning from you. What did he do
not to deserve it? The rain falls on both the just and the unjust, and Elros was far from unjust. Long life he gets from his geniology. Can you help that, or even influence it one way or another? Riches? He was given exceptional favore from the Valar. What you are doing is like trying to deny people their birthday presents just because "they don't deserve them!"
