We should also take into account that she almost certainly had the backing of the Seer, and what's worse, being extremely astute, probably knew she did. It must have been an almost insuperable temptation not to call
tar-ancalime out as a Seer and save herself. Better, in a way, if she had done-we would still have a Hunter and a proven innocent as well. But in any case, she died for the village.
