I have just realized something very important.
Without a sun or moon, the elves are in serious need of light. torches won't last them forever and starlight, while pretty, may not be enough. The only thing that can provide the light the elves need is the silmaril. Therefore, a kinslaying may happen on any side.
For reasons said above, I change my vote to ++Mablung.
