Where two or more people put their pin in the same place as their location, I believe that it places the latest pin on top. That's what happened when Rimbaud stuck his pin in London after I had just done so. You can still view both by clicking on the names on the side or by zooming in.

There are problems with the zoom function, however, as it seems to retain "ghost" pins from previous zoom levels.
