Precisely. The difference, however, being that, prior to both revelations, I had directly accused
mormegil of being a Wolf and
Marcolie had indicated strong suspicions, whereas
Abercrombie had not come under much suspicion at all. Surely the one under the greater pressure is the one more likely to resort to such a desperate ploy.
