I'm Koneko, an Essexian from the Desert of No Writing Circles (as I currently call my hometown.) Can't say I'm a complete LoTR fanatic, since the first decent fantasy book I picked up (at the age of twelve, adult fantasy
) was Anne McCaffrey. As a result I refuse to write a dragon as a main character, since I will never write them to my satisfaction.
I hate the Harry Potter books. I though I might get that out of the way first. They are walking cliches - and if that offends anyone, I apologise. However, I like the fanfiction, and the films are alright.
I call myself a "werd". That's a writing nerd. =^_^= Kinda fitting, since I've started to write my story in my college notebook. I've got pages marked "S" littered through it... werdish.
And I'm reading "Unfinished Tales" at the minute. o.O . Turin is such a poor tortured person... but I still want to know how Glorfindel got from probably-dead-Balrog-slayer-in-Gondolin to elf-at-Rivendell. :|
