No - the geography is
similar - as CT in HoMe 6 & Douglas Anderson in Annotated Hobbit both point out - the distances & timescale for the respective journeys given in TH do not match those of LotR - this is due to different geography.

No - I offered the differences in races - Trolls, Elves & Dwarves (as Tolkien said they are based on Grimm not in his own Naugrim. I also offered out of place objects & creatures like the Troll's purse & Beorn's animals
