I raise this question because while looking at the hobbit family trees in the back of "The Return of the King", I noticed that at least two of the three daughters of the Old Took that whent with Gandalf on some sort of adventure married the respective heads of the families they married into. If the hobbits are so wary of adventuress hobbits how did the sisters marry so well. ( I could not find any information on the person the other sister married).
