Hookbill, I think that may be because all of us across the pond are secretly fantasizing that Lord peter Wimsey really
does exsist and that if we went to England we could find him. That said, I thankfully don't have that image of all British people. My next-door neighbor is English, and he
certainly isn't the Wimsey type. Actually, I didn't even realize that you were British untill the other day. I had somehow decided in my head that you were about 13 and American. Sorry!
