I've done a couple without much interest in the way of replies, but I don't mind at all. Sometimes you just want to post some information or share something with everyone, and in those cases there might not be very much anyone could post in reply apart from "hmm, that's interesting". Sometimes a thread might be very specialised, or it might be that there's an almighty ruckus happening on another thread that's keeping everyone busy

. So, there's nowt to be embarrassed about at all.
