Here's one that makes me shake my head. It's quite well known. When Grishnakh is crouching over Merry, ready to slice, and Treebeard squashes the Orc with his foot, Merry has somehow moved several feet away from the beast. Enough space to avoid being crushed by the Ent, funnily enough!
