I've posted - yet again.
My post does contain a plot point, but don't think of it as a major plot movement. Think of it, rather, as Hirvegil's feeble attempt to move the plot. He's a little too weary, and slightly ill, to really know what he's doing. And he may well be leading a fool's mission. His hopes are to ride fast enough to catch up with his own troops, the Elves, and overwhelm the orcs no matter the cost, just to finish up the matter before he loses control even more. This may prove unnecessary, since the Elves could accomplish their mission before he arrives (and could certainly do so) but he plans to attempt it anyway. It may not, though, be in the best interests of those around him...
Remember, we now only have 3-4 days to finish this up (i.e. crunch time for this segment).
