The hobbits, for whatever reason (rapids, maybe? Be creative!) start getting up and ignoring Sondo's safety precautions. Perhaps the storm could *temporarily* let up, and then return with a vengeance... At any rate, the raft will crash sometime in the late evening - I want it like this so that it is actually dark, and the hobbits will have a rather sleepless night, not meeting up until morning (does this sound cruel or what? ). Sorry for what seems like a break in the action right now - I hadn't planned on the storm picking up so violently already, and I'm trying to get us on to nighttime.

Anyhow, you just don't seem to be having the greatest luck lately... do your best. I can certainly sympathize with the snow - we got 2+ feet the other night. Nasty, tricksy weather.
