Hello all!
I'm brand-new here, so I thought I might introduce myself. I'm 22 and live in London, where I'm doing an MA in Classics.

Some of my favourite books besides LOTR are Vergil's Aeneid, Ovid's Metamorphoses, A Clockwork Orange, The Brothers Karamazov, Harry Potter, and the Bartimaeus Trilogy. So yes, I'm rather bookish, I suppose, but am still rather in touch with the world - I love going to the cinema and watching DVDs, going out to bars/clubs and concerts, and running/going to the gym. Anywho, am excited to be here, seems like a great site.
