Does it have a specific name? No
Is it the stone that Pippin threw in the well in Moria? No
... or the stone that Boromir threw in the lake before the Moria Gate? No
Mentioned in other books, too? No (Not that I know of)
Owned by anyone at all? No
Used for a greater purpose? Meaning what?

I think my answers to Menel's questions may have been slightly misleading - maybe I should say he could attempt those things but may have slight difficulties due to weight, size, etc...
