I thought he was the best, most 'frightening' monster in the whole trilogy.
If you saw the MoS down an alleyway, would your first impression be Campy? I don't think so! And I know what
I would do in that situation. I'd run as fast as I could in the opposite direction, throwing women and children behind me!
