Eowyn was in love with Aragorn, but it wasnŽt the MAN she loved here, it was the idea. In Faramir, she loved the man, his caring, his gentleness, and his loved for her. So she didnŽt "marry down" to her wishes. On the contrary, IŽd say she "married up". Instead of a man she hardly knew, and whoŽd hurt her; she chose a man she knew, and who loved and apprechiated her. Check out
