Interesting, isn't it, that both the BBC news article and the National Geographic include a drawing of the
Homo floresiensis. The drawing depicts a male, although the skeleton found was, apparently, female. (Shades of
Lucy!) Apparently the male is still the defining standard of any species. Neanderthals indeed. * Umm , make that, Sapient indeed.
