Uien and Falowik
"To be wed! That is glad news!" cried Uien, her eyes alight, flashing a smile back to Falowik. He gave a perfunctory smile, not knowing this strange woman, Zimzi, at all, and having been acquainted with Derufin for a little more than a day. He would be happy for them for Uien's sake.
Zimzi held Uien's hand and led her into the kitchen, and they wove their way between Buttercup and Cook and pots and pans and table and chairs, to Derufin, who stood leaning against the doorpost where Zimzi had left him.
"Derufin! See whom I have brought! Uien, the elf who made the figurine that I love!"
Derufin's eyes moved quickly from Zimzi to Uien, and recognition was immediate.
"Good greeting, Derufin," Uien smiled. "You remember Falowik?"
