Peony followed Takua's stare to the group of silver haired men who had just entered. She raised an eyebrow and returned her attention to her companion. "Both my brothers served in the War. My older brother was a Guard of the Citadel and my twin served as well. I am happy to say they are both alive and well, but we did lose a close friend in the War."
Peony sighed and looked once more at Deva. Turning back she added, "He died for his country and to save my twin's life. I owe him so much, but I suppose that is the price we pay for living in such times."
She let the thoughts slip from her mind, "But for the present let us not mourn the dead, but celebrate the living. How 'bout some ale?"
