I've looked at this "Glorfindel" trading card picture and was dismayed!
He looks like a kid and weak and silly. Nothing at all like the powerful beautiful elflord that Tolkien describes in "many meetings" . If given a choice, I'd rather have the Elf standing behind Elrond at the wedding !!
In any case I prefer my own imagination...
