Certainly she did not, in all versions of her story. However, it is made more clear in the UT that she and Fëanor were in all ways opposite and that she actively opposed him at Alqualondë (perhaps aiding the Teleri in fighting Fëanor's forces off, as I seem to recall in one telling--sorry for the vagueness!), as contrasted to the less clarified version of her story in the Silmarillion that told of her desire to rule her own realm and to cross to Middle Earth and thus her classing as part of the rebellious group of Noldor (although not in sympathy with the aims of the Fëanorians--more independent in that respect).
