When you try to remember the Viking Prayer that the warriors say at the end of The Thirteenth Warrior, and end up saying:
"Lo, there do I see my father,
Lo, there do I see my mother and my sisters and my brothers,
Lo, there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning,
Lo, they do call to me, they bid me take my place among them,
In the Halls of Mandos, where the brave may live... forever."
My friend Evan started chortling immediately.
I said "Halls of Mandos" when it's supposed to be "Halls of Valhalla"
*blushes furiously*
Anyone else think that would make a good chant/prayer for the Dunedain? Especially those of the Line of Isildur?
