Is this really the case?? <P>I think it's too bad Silmarillion won't be made into a movie anytime soon; I think it's got the potential for a big hit. Theoretically speaking I would love Feanor's story told in detail, and maybe the Silmarils should be the main characters - sort of like the Ring was in these movies; and all the other stories revolving around their fate, and being connected by it. And yes, better a 6-hour movie than a TV series.
