Here's my biggest minor change disappointment: Frodo's writing!<P>First of all, it was in english not elvish (not sure if the Red Book was in elvish, but it just didn't seem right). Main problem was, since it didn't require translation it was easy to read on a movie screen. This line in particular stuck out: <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:<HR> And Sam? What can I say about Sam? <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>Sorry, but it sounds more like the journal of a 10-year old than something written by Frodo Baggins.<P>Also, I thought that changing the title to: <BLOCKQUOTE>quote:<HR> <I> The Lord of the Rings </I> <P>by Frodo Baggins <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>showed little taste. The proper title of his book, <I>The Downfall of the Lord of the Rings and the Return of the King</I> sounds <B>much</B> better. After all, the lines we could read above don't even appear in <I>The Lord of the Rings</I> as we know it.
