The lyrics were taken from the song (above) that the hobbits sing on their way out of the shire, in between hiding from the two (or same?) Black Rider.<P>It's amazing what you can do with a change of tempo and tune. the bbc radio adaptation has a jolly feel to it, and pippin's is all doom and gloom. Marvelous!
