"You'll see Frodo, Sam and Gollum climbing up the stair in the forground, and, in the distance, about 30 miles away, Minas Tirith is sitting in front of the mountains and it's on fire. The flames are everywhere and the place is under siege. At that point in the story, Pippin and Gandalf are actually in Minas Tirith."<HR></BLOCKQUOTE><P>This is actually pretty close to the timeline set out in the book and is part of how Jackson is justifying moving Shelob into King. More importantly, it shows us a continuity link. I would assume the battle with Shelob will take place around the same time as events on Pelennor Fields. Man, there's going to be a lot going on at the same time.<P>H.C.
