My guess; the Entwives are somewhere around the Old Forest or somewhere in the Shire. I haven't read the books in awhile, but I seem to remember something about either Pippin or Merry saying something about who they had seen trees like Treebeard in some of the forests in the Shire...Can't really tell you for sure, though.
