The exceptions would have discovered Tolkien even without the movies sooner or later.<BR>Don't even make me start on how I'd enjoy 6 (and more) hours of LOTR - you don't have to watch them all at once, if that's what you're afraid of. The amount of detail that goes into everything, every piece of dialogue reproduced, every nuance captured...ah, I'm just a sucker for detail. Probably I'm a vestige of a long gone world...
