In the books she basically sits near Elrond in Rivendell, she really is more of a princess than a warrior-maiden. I think Jennifer might have made it as Arwen, as long as we're talking about PJ's warrior-maiden Arwen. If we're talking a booktual Arwen then there is no way that Garner could've made it.
