I didn't quite appreciate the way that scene was done, but I won't get into a fit over it . I was almost smirking through that scene in the cinema, half-smiling because I felt like laughing. It reminded me of a Catholic priest yelling, "Demons, out!". It seems to me that it was a little bit overdone, but I admit you guys are right, it does look good on screen, it does emphasize Saruman's power, and Theoden does appear a stronger character than the way he is described in the books.[ August 26, 2003: Message edited by: Kaiserin ]
