In addition to what's already been said above:<P>I love the amount of detail put into the whole production. Did you know that the miniture pillars of Khazad-Dum all had dwarvish runes on them? It's almost impossible to see in the movie, but the crew went through the effort of doing it anyway. When Ian McKellen was going through the papers in Minas Tirith, each page of every book there was written out by a calligrapher in Middle Earth style. Only a group and director that truely loved the book they were working with would go through such an effort to make it so detailed and real. I think that's wonderful, and only PJ could do it.
