Meela is definitely right.
Right after Eomer yells "TO THE KING!!!!" you can almost feel a pause for everyone to draw a lungful of air, right before they start charging down the slope. I also loved the way that when Gandalf rode up to the brink, it seemed like a sun was rising, because a sun was indeed rising for Middle-earth, Aragorn. He was coming into his heritage as King of Gondor and Arnor, and that was definitely a sunrise for Middle-earth.
Another very stunning scene was Saruman egging his army on in Isengard. As soon as he walked out onto the balcony, and the camera panned over the sea of Uruk-hai, it seemed like all the breath whooshed out of me when I saw that. I could almost feel Grima's despair, when I saw that tear roll down his face, and I could almost feel the animal bloodlust of the Uruk-hai.

But Melkor also was there, and he came to the house of Fëanor, and there he slew Finwë King of the Noldor before his doors, and spilled the first blood in the Blessed Realm; for Finwë alone had not fled from the horror of the Dark.
