Please dont compare the Lord of the Rings movies with Star Wars. the success of these movies are already assured, and even if the attendance draw for return of the King is less than Two Towers (which beat out Fellowship), it is all paid for, and is a great finish! It was my opinion that it would be Two Towers that would make or break the movies, for if there was alot of disappointment with Fekkowship, then attendance would be down for Two Towers. The factor as to why attendance was higher for Two Towers is the great DVD package put out in 2002 that drew many who didn't pay any mind to Fellowship while in theatres, but decided to go see Two Towers after seeing the dvd at home. I think Return of the King will be on par with Two Towers in attendance because I don't think the 'DVD dividend' from the Two Towers will bring in as many new veiwers. We will see!
