I had heard that the Pippin-Palantir sequence would be in the film, in which case it would be strange not also to include Aragorn's moment with it. I would have thought that this would be something that Jackson would relish doing (like the Paths of the Dead) and it would hardly take a great chunk out of the overall running time.
