Did anyone see the 'Sharpe' series starring Sean Bean? It was about a British soldier in Spain during the Napoleonic wars, based on the books by Bernard Cornwell. I thought it was OK, though suffered from lack of budget in that the battle scenes weren't convincing due to a lack of extras. This was shown on British TV a few years ago, but is still repeated on UK Gold. <P>One of my female housemates at the time was addicted to the series due to the presence of Sean, though she did call it the 'silly hat show'.
