I agree, HCIsland. There would be too many minor characters, which would lead to confusion. I mean, my mother confused Boromir with Legolas. Imagine what she would be like with more than one blonde elf to cope with!<BR>But on the other hand the movie would have done better to create a more faithful adaptation and used Glorfindel (who happened to also be one of my favourite characters.<BR>Of course, on yet another hand, Arwen was introduced, setting up the Aragorn/Arwen romance situation, which was a good part of the film.<p>[ April 02, 2003: Message edited by: Meela ]
