The more people berate the movies, the more I have to appologize for accually likeing them, and that's not fun. I bow to dunadan_aragorn for his post. That being said, yes there are annoying things they did in the movies, yes there are things that should have been in or not been in them, but honestly, they can't just cater to LOTR fanacics like us. The movie aren't that bad. Most of my friends who saw the movies are now reading the books. That can't be bad.
