I think Robin Williams would have made a perfect Tom Bombadil!! I was okay with Dominic's portrayal of Merry. He's nose is big thogh but it makes him look kinda cute. I also like Sean Astin as Sam but he sometimes didn't get his accent well enough. Like when Gandalf catches him eavesdropping outside of Frodo's house and explains to Gandalf what he had heard. I think Liv Tyler did a very good job because no one else got the Elvish language down like she did. Like, Elrond (I don't know the guy's real name)he didn't seem good enough with the accent and I also imagined Elrond to look different. He makes a good agent (Matrix) but not a good elf. I absolutely loved Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf no one could have done a better job than him. I'm comfortable with Cate Blanchett being Galadriel. I thought that Bilbo, Gimli, Legolas, Aragorn, Boromir, and Pippin we portrayed very nicely. Frodo was okay, I wasn't really impressed, but I don't think anyone could have done a better job than Elijah.
