Thinhyandoie: Because I wanted to read the books before I saw the movie (there's something redeeming in that). I had never read LOTR before, so I read FOTR, then headed off to the theatre, not knowing that Boromir dies, and I was in complete SHOCK!! For days I was all "He wasn't supposed to DIE!!"" And my friends would roll their eyes. <BR>That soooooo happened to me. I had just relised he was my favoret cherecter too. I couldn't cry or I would havenever heard the end of it from my father. I only kept myself from crying by saying it was a plot change, Sean Bean had quick so they killed Boromir off. When I read the beginning of TTT it was not a good day in my house. (WHAT HE DIES?! And a whole lot of crying)
