I've heard equal evidence from reliable sources that says a) there will be the scouring and b) there won't be. In short, we won't know if it's in RotK until we see it. It might just be in a flashback-ish scene, though, but I'm pretty sure it'll be there. (Flashback-ish? Hm. Try saying that three times fast! )
