In regards to what Frieda said, I believe that Gollum might be an “it” but Smeagol is definitely a “he”. <P>I thought Gollum/Smeagol was amazing!! He looked so real!! Definitely the best CGI character in movie history. And he was soooo funny. My favorite scenes of Gollum are the split personality and the scene where he’s in the Forbidden Pool and slaps a fish against a rock.
