I was 12, in Jr. High. A friend left a copy of TTT in my lap after explaining to me a bit about the story. I took it home, read it really fast (it was a library book) and returned it to her. She said, "well, you have to read the [SIZE=3]First[/SIZE] book!" and lent me FOTR. The rest, as they say, is history.
