Celebdae plunged through the dense woods, gaining on Damselle with every step he took. Finally, he and Elenna pulled up along side her, matching her pace. Elenna leapt onto the back of the plaid mare, leaning down over her neck.
"Shhh. Quiet. Everything will be all right. Shh." Elenna murmured into the horse's ear. She was so absorbed that she didn't notice the group of dwarves walking up to her over the hill.
