Your First Posts for your character could take place in The Prancing Pony Inn. Your character could be there talking to a group of your neighbors about how you’ve heard that farmers (maybe members of your extended family) in the outlying sections of northern Bree have been regularly losing their stock. Chickens have gone missing, and now sheep are starting to be killed. No one has seen what is doing this, but people are angry and starting to be afraid – especially since whole, large sheep have been carted off by these creatures.

Over numerous tankards of ale, there could be lots of speculation – people even wondering if some thieving orcs have holed up somewhere or ruffians who were associated with old Sharkey are hanging about and making trouble since the War ended . . .
