I would suggest, Sharon, that you take an inventory of how many machines populate your living abode. As you take note of each one, think of what the machine accomplishes, and how humans used to accomplish the same thing. I think that by the time you have completed this little task, you will be convinced that you truly have become comfortable with a culture that lives by the machine.
