As the elves moved away from scene, further down the hill, Findorak rose. He stifled a scream of pain as he broke off the end of the arrow, better to leave the rest in for now.
He rose to one knee and shot a glance at the dead Skaibad.
He should have stayed down, play dead!
Findorak had had the common sense to know when he was beat, but the orc had tried in vain to attack the elven host.
Findorak crawled slwoly down the hill to a spot where he could see the cavemouth without being seen himself. From all the noise, it seemed that the elves were playing havoc with the remaining easterlings and orcs. He decided to stay put and waity for the outcome, if any easterlings were left then he would descend, but if not, then he would have to think. he was in no fit state to move from his position.
