Lofinnaes sat silently as he listened to the plans for the rescue of Anuion. He was only slightly worried by the numbers that Bordarigorn presented, but when his plan of taking an orc arrow and slaying an easterling was made known, he rested easier. The easterlings were not a intelligent kind. They did not reguard details, and would take the gesture for what they wanted...chaos would errupt.
He stood as Bordarigorn left the room. Sure, he had questions. He had a lot of them. Who was the leader of these terrors? Why would they want to make war on the Golden Wood?
He turned to an elf standing beside him "I'm only wondering if we should consider what these orcs might do if they're headed...they are a desperate kind, they will not want to see Anuion walk if they know they are to die."
The elf friend nodded silently at the statement before Lofinnaes stepped outside. There had to be a way to catch the orcs off guard...even if they did create chaos among the terrors, they would not be able to draw enough away to keep Anuion safe... He was the elder of many of these elves, but he could not think of a single experience to which he could apply it to their current task.
His thoughts were running wild as he pulled out his bow. He aimed an arrowless bow amoung the trees and silently released. It would feel good to use his bow in battle once more...
